The Greater Dayton African America Chamber of Commerce was established in November of 2000 to attract businesses to the Dayton area and to help local African Amercian business professionals succeed. All in an effort to build a stronger community. The chamber has over 600 members who are encouraged to network, develop strong business alliances, and use each others products and services.
Achievements:
- National recognition from the American Society of Newspaper Editors for their advocacy efforts during the Dayton Public School Construction Project,2007.

- Recognized 7 Outstanding African American Businesses Leaders -2011.

- Hosted community meeting on "Buy Black, Support African American Businesses"

- Hosted Minority Outreach Contractor's Meeting c/o Smoot Construction ( casino).

- Hosted 2nd African American Expo & Trade Show 2011( secure space for 2012 event).
- Hosted the Business Affair Xmas Event at De Lish Cafe located downtown Dayton

- Served in small business interest group sponored by Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland & U.S. Federal Reserve Bank in reference to small business loans.
