The Greater Dayton African American Chamber of Commerce and
Clear Channel 106.5 FM Smooth Jazz will present "An Evening of
Smooth Jazz on the Green" at the Historic Carillon Park on Friday
evenings, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on August 27 and September 24,
2004. This event will provide opportunities for businesses to
display their products and introduce their services ,as well as,
promote voter registration. Companies should call (937) 222-8406 for
table reservations will be $200 for chamber members or $250 for non
chamber members.
Urban Jazz Coalition from Columbus, Ohio will be the featured jazz
artists and Alejondra, a local music group, will be the R& B artist.
Entrance fee for the
general public will be $3.00.

NEW CHAMBER OFFICE !!!!
The Greater Dayton African American Chamber of Commerce will locate
its headquarters at 184 Salem Avenue at the United Way Building. The
official
new location date is August 1, 2004. The office will locate on the
1st floor , but
will have access to meeting rooms within the facility.
A special open house will be planned for September, 2004. Keep
watching for the reception date.
